This has been by far my favorite taco place from south Seattle all the way up to Everett.
The owner Rego is a great guy who you often meet at the front counter. It''s been great to see his business and delicious menu growing.
The new barbacoa tacos are amazing. The spice is complex and satisfying. I always order my constant favorite classic adobada pork tacos. Rice and beans on the side make for the ultimate comfort meal.
Taco-Book has good fresh ingredients. You can try different specialty taco meats and count on really good quality.
Finally taco-book is affordable. Its usually fast even when Its busy, and it's a great place for family, kids, and friends. -

5 stars really awesome authentic food delicious
I love this family owned restaurant they even do large to go orders and have their own taco truck to cater parties
Special orders are no problem, I have young kids who are very picky and they loved the food -

So colleague told me this place is legit. I told the guy at the counter how excited I was. He said, "it's good. You won't disappoint. It's grandma's recipe."
IT WAS SO GOOD I don't care if that means grandma spat in my taco. I ordered the pack 2 with beef (which includes 3 tacos, a can of soda, and rice and beans), and it all disappeared in less than 7 minutes. I'm not usually the fast eater, but this is so good I couldn't stop. The taco is definitely a street taco size. It might have not been enough if this was dinner; but for lunch, the portion is perfect.
Note: green sauce is as good as everyone says; red sauce is actually really good too. Just don't go overboard with the red sauce if you can't handle spicy.
WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK! -

The branding is kind of tacky but I had to try it after seeing the rating this place has. Their menu is pretty solid and I would be interested in trying more of their dishes.
For the first time being here, I decided to get 6 cabeza tacos and a large horchata. The tacos were good but I've had better tasting cabeza at other joints. They had a green and red sauce and I thought the green was better but still not great. Not a fan of the red sauce at all. The horchata was good but there was no ice in it which made it hard for me to drink. I like my drinks to be cold. Unfortunately, the 6 tacos were not filling so I left the restaurant still a bit hungry. -

This is definitely the best place for authentic Mexican food in the area. I've been here twice now and have not been disappointed.
The tacos are only $1.50, so you can get a decent amount of them without spending too much.
The location of the it is pretty easy to find , but the only downfall is the parking lot is small. The parking lot is shared with a laundry-mat and another small business.
